1 .“Select Hole” now back in Practice Mode
2. “Manage Players” added to normal play mode allowing players to be added or removed from the active game.

Also includes these great new features:

* Sidespin slider – to allow you to control how far off line shots go
* Rough penalty slider – to allow you to set a penalty for shots out of the rough
* Bunker penalty slider – to allow you to set a penalty for shots out of the rough
* Added a slider in the game options to tilt the shot camera up and down
* Added new "Competitions" mode - allowing Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive to be played by an unlimited number of people. Leaderboard keeps track of names and scores
* An in-game menu option "Change Player" allows the controller to set a new player's name

New: Auto Putting

With the new Auto Putting feature the system will automatically putt the ball in the hole on the 1st, 3rd or 5th putt.

This feature is of particular interest to commercial indoor golf facilities where playing time is of essence.

It has been noticed that players can get on the green in 3 or 4 shots but spend too much time trying to putt the ball into the hole. Putting on a golf simulator not being so easy as in real life.

GSA Golf Control Panel

What's this?

GSA ball and club tracking systems (both camera and optical sensors) are controlled by the GSA Control Panel.

The control panel is a multi-process application that constantly monitors the tracking systems for a valid shot.

When a valid shot has been detected the club and ball shot parameters - i.e ball speed, path, launch angle, club speed, club path and face angle - are passed to whatever golf game system is being used.

GSA offer 3 golf gaming and simulation packages - ProX, GSA Golf and E6. (Note: all previous versions of ProX before version 7.0.0 do not require the control panel)

The Control Panel should be started before launching any of the golf game applications. All system setup and configuration information is stored in the control panel.

To try GSAGolf, download and run the GSAGolf & GSA Control Panel Setups using the above download links.

GSAGolf requires the Control Panel program to run in parallel with it to communicate with GSASensor systems.

For evaluation purposes you can also launch shots with the mouse via the interface when in PC game mode.

After installing the GSAGolf and Control Panel, first start the Control Panel and then start the GSA Golf program from the newly created GSAGolf desktop icons, switch to windowed mode and start a golf round.

Alt-Tab key back to your windows desktop and start GSA Golf Interface.

If you don’t have GSA club track and/or ball track systems, you can launch shots in GSA Golf using the PC Game mode feature in GSA Control Panel

Note: In order for the system to function with GSA sensor systems, a chip or camera ID must be identified.
